 Clayton Flooring and Design offers customers help when it comes to designing the floor they really want. Many times, people just go to a big box store and pick out something that grabs their attention. They get it installed. And then discover that's not really the look they wanted for their home.

There are several steps that our experienced flooring pros can guide each customer through when it comes to choosing a new flooring for their home.
- What area is it that you wish to cover? Certain flooring types go better with different rooms. Will you be putting this flooring in a heavy traffic area? Are you planning on putting this in a kid's room? Entrance area? Kitchen? Family Room? Sunroom? Outdoor area? All over the house? Clayton Flooring has suitable flooring for ALL locations.
- What is your style goal? Have you already geared everything to the style you want or are you changing the style of the space? Are you looking to create an elegant feel with richer materials and more ornate furnishings? Maybe you are looking to create the cleaner lines of a "modern chic"? Is the area going to be filled with antiques and you're looking for a rustic country feel?
- What style and kinds of furnishings are already present? It is important to give your flooring professional an idea of what is already there so they may better assist you in selecting and designing your new flooring pattern. If you have pictures of the current space, we encourage you to bring them in. Clayton Flooring can then better assist you in matching up your style and furnishing with your new flooring.
- What colors, tones and hues are already there or are intended for this room or space?
- Do you already have a preference as far as your flooring type? Some people will go with carpet, regardless just due to their preference. Others prefer the look and feel of hardwood flooring. If you already have a strong preference, let us know. We will still show you other possibilities, but we will keep your preferences in mind as we work together to design your new floor.
- How much maintenance time is acceptable? Low maintenance preferred? Or do you have more time to work with?
- Are you just purchasing the flooring and installing it yourself, or will you have it professionally installed by trained installers? Some floorings are relatively easy for a DIYer; others, not so much.
- Finally, what are your cost considerations? If you have an unlimited budget, the possibilities are endless. If you're working on a budget, then we can guide you to floorings that will work within your budget.

Mobile Showroom
 If you prefer, Clayton Flooring can bring the best of our flooring products directly to your home. We can't pack everything into our mobile showroom vans, but based on information above, our professional staff can select the most appropriate floorings to demonstrate them right in your own home!
Our mobile showroom allows each customer to see exactly how a flooring will look in their home. Customers don't get the whole showroom, but the benefits of seeing samples directly in a particular area is very helpful to many customers. As well, exact measurements can be taken at the same time for final estimates and costing for your project. Ask about our mobile showroom when you speak to us!
